This article provides instructions for configuring computers to use Remote Desktop Connection.

Remote Desktop is one of two options for employees to use College resources from off-campus.  For an overview of these options, see "How to work from off-campus".

Remote Desktop Connection requires two computers and an RA (Remote Access) network account.  Typically employees connect their home computer to their office computer.  This allows you to use your office computer (with all it's programs and files) from home.  To get an RA account, contact the IT Helpdesk.

To make a successful connection, both computers to be configured properly.  For simplicity, we use the words "home" and "office" but the location of the computers does not matter.

First: Configure your office computer
