How to access your Google Drive files in Canvas:
	- Click on the Google Drive link on the left side navigation in your Canvas course.
 
	- Click the Authorize button to allow access to your Google Drive account
 
	- Sign in to your Google Account 
 
	- Click Allow. This grants Canvas to access your Google account.
 
	- Locate your file(s) and open it.
 
How to submit an assignment using Google Drive:
	- Open assignment
 
	- Click Submit Assignment button
 
	- Locate the Google Drive tab at the top of the File Upload box
 
	- Click the AUTHORIZE button at the bottom of the screen to allow access to your Google Drive account
 
	- Click the Allow button. This grants Canvas to access your Google account.
 
	- Locate the file for submission
 
	- Click Submit
 
	- Verify the correct file name in the File name box 
 
	- Click Submit Assignment
 
Note:
	- When Google Drive files (doc, sheets, and slides) are uploaded to a Canvas assignment as a submission, the files convert to their Microsoft counterpart file type and appear in the submission as respective Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files.
 
	- This conversion essentially preserves the submission in its current state; any changes made to the file in Google Drive will not be updated in the assignment submission.
