The Problem

Generally, to log into Panopto, you will use your MySVC email and password if you are a student or your SVC Okta-enabled Email and Password if you are an employee.

Occasionally, this will not work through the Panopto integration on Canvas.

For Trouble Logging Into Panopto Through Canvas
If you need to log into Panopto on Canvas, such as to view a video that requires you to be signed in, but are unable to log in using the same credentials you log into Canvas with, try the following:
- On the sign in screen that asks for your username and password information, select to expand the drop-down menu that says Panopto, above the username field
- Select "SVC Official Canvas"
- This will then sign you in using Canvas
