Fill out this form to request software to be purchased and/or installation in your office, classroom, or computer lab.
When to request software: Computer Lab Software must be requested three months in advance to provide time for automation. Computer lab requests submitted less than three months in advance may be installed the following quarter.
Software Requirements: All Software should be Windows 10 compatible, and SVC must maintain proper licensing. You may contact a publisher to request permission for Skagit Valley College to install the software and provide IT with an email record of the publisher permission.
The following software is standard on all computers and does not require a request:
- Adobe Reader
- Adobe Shockwave
- Adobe Flash (End-of-Life 2020)
- Java
- QuickTime
- Chrome
- FireFox
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft OneNote
- Microsoft Visio
- Microsoft Publisher
- Microsoft
- OneDrive
- Skype.
Likewise, you do not need to resubmit a request for software each quarter unless you are requesting a software/license update, or requesting the software in additional locations.
