Instructors are able to add other faculty or instructors to their active courses, but they are not able to add students.
- Navigate to the course.
- Click on the People link in the course navigation.
- Click on the +People button
- Enter the full SVC email address of the person to add.
- Choose their role in the course. (Teacher, TA, Guest Teacher, Observor, etc.)
- Choose section if needed.
- Verify the email address is correct and click Next.
- If the user you want to add doesn't have an SVC Canvas account, you will get an error message that "We were unable to find a match." You will have to request assistance from the eLearning team to create a Canvas account for the user.
- Click Add Users.
