Resetting an Employee Password in okta

1. Navigate to Skagit.okta.com
2. Enter your SVC Account Username and password

3. Click the sign in button
4. If you have not yet signed in to okta with this account, you will be asked to set up Multi-Factor Authentication. See This Article for more info: Article - Setting up Okta for Passwor... (teamdynamix.com)
   1. If you are not asked to set up Multi-Factor Authentication, and instead are presented with the "My Apps" Dashboard, continue below at step 5.

5. Within the okta "My Apps" dashboard, click your name in the Top Right-hand corner of the screen and select Settings from the context menu.
6. Within the Account dashboard, use the Password Change menu to change your password.
   1. Enter your Current, New and Confirm the New password within each box, then click the Change Password button.
   2. Please pay special attention to the password requirements (yellow box in the below screen capture.)
   3. Cyber Security's best practice recommends using a Pass Phrase, which is a string of words that will be easier for you to remember. This is because password strength is determined by the length of the password; using a longer password with words will help you remember it easier while maximizing the password strength.
