What Sites and Systems does this work for?
This is only for changing passwords for SVC-managed accounts used with SVC Computer Systems, and websites that have been integrated into the SVC account authentication system.
Examples of integrated sites:
eLearning websites such as Canvas and Panopto
Microsoft 365 websites such as Outlook.com, office.com, sharepoint.com, etc.
Any other website or system that uses the same username and password as your SVC computer.
For third-party websites and systems that have not been integrated into our authentication system, please use that site or the system's own password reset tools.

If you have not yet signed in to okta with this account, you will be asked to set up Multi-Factor Authentication. See This Article for more info:

If you are not asked to set up Multi-Factor Authentication, and instead are presented with the "My Apps" Dashboard, continue below at step 5.
MFA Setup Screen shot Here
Within the okta "My Apps" dashboard, click your name in the Top Right-hand corner of the screen and select Settings from the context menu.
Within the Account dashboard, use the Password Change menu to change your password.
Enter your Current, New and Confirm the New password within each box, then click the Change Password button.
Please pay special attention to the password requirements (yellow box in the below screen capture.)
Cyber Security's best practice recommends using a Pass Phrase, which is a string of words that will be easier for you to remember. This is because password strength is determined by the length of the password; using a longer password with words will help you remember it easier while maximizing the password strength.
